If you purchase an extended warranty, you must contact them for service. Should they send the call to us, we provide the work that they authorize and then bill them. The contract between an appliance owner and the extended warranty company has all of the particulars regarding service for your appliance. Often, we have to get more than one authorization before a repair.
We are not a part of that contact and only hired as an independent servicer at their discretion. ALL terms for repair, replacement and repair warranties are dictated by that contract. Most contracts have several exclusions. Please read your contact carefully and contact your extended warranty company for any questions regarding your warranty.
1. Peace of mind.
Extended warranties help you relax knowing your appliance can be repaired if something happens to it.
2. Insurance for expensive units.
We wouldn't recommend an extended warranty on an appliance that costs a couple hundred dollars, but it can be a lifesaver for expensive appliances.
3. Less surprises.
Appliance parts are expensive these days, and a quick repair can easily run you more than $1,000 without extended warranty coverage.
